The GA Marathon poster competition is a collaboration between Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and the Publix Georgia Marathon. This Marathon and Half Marathon is Atlanta’s premier endurance event – historic Atlanta, Decatur, and Centennial Olympic Park – run the race of the south. The poster represents the various runners that participate in the race, and how these runners come together to show that everybody involved is a winner. The design was utilized to create a pattern that is implemented to a variety of applications, transcending the barriers from print to digital.
